Good afternoon,
 
Thank you for signing up for the Materials Spotlight Series event tomorrow, April 7th from 9:15 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.  We will be looking at the 2-, 5-, and 10-year challenges for the catalysis industry, such as moving towards a cleaner and sustainable future, addressing evolving energy and raw material scenarios, understanding catalysis from the molecular to application scale, etc.

The event will have three parts of 30 minutes each:
  1. Ten-minute industry presentations by
    • Dow – "Plastics Production"
      Heather Spinney, Senior Research Scientist
    • BASF Corporation – "Automotive Market"
      Joseph Dellamorte, Senior Research Manager Process Catalyst and Adsorbents R&D
  2. Five-minute presentations by six faculty working on powdered metal and processing at Penn State
  3. Informal Q&A and discussion (there will not be Q&A during the talks)
