Family Formation At Home
On the fourth Sunday of each month, you get to bring the Chapel of the Cross home with you! Each month, materials to empower parents and youth to engage in meaningful formation, discussion, and activities together will be included in the Youth E-Newsletter.
This month, we'll be observing The Stations of the Cross in a new and personal way as we explore the station in Coker Arboretum (just behind the church) or at your own house. We'll be taking a break from Mike Peterson's monthly writings to make use of some excellent material put together by Rev. Mia Kano and adapted for our use by Boykin Bell and Margo MacIntyre. The Stations of the Cross have been observed during Holy Week for hundreds of year. We hope you find meaning in observing them in a new way this year!
Youth Sunday Readers Needed
Sunday, May 2nd
We will be celebrating the active presence of the youth in our parish during our annual Youth Sunday service on Sunday, May 2nd. This year's service will be virtual and will take place during our regular Sunday morning worship at 9:00am. We will need several youth to serve as readers of scripture and prayers. You will be sent a copy of your reading that you can record at home (or anywhere) and send back to be included in the service.
If you are interested in being a part of this year's Youth Sunday service, please email Mike Peterson as soon as possible. Spots will be filled on a first come, first served basis.
Parting Shot
