🎷 Back in the Groove of Things

In the spirit of staying groovy, I wanted to curate something that simply makes you feel good, especially about any progress and growth you’ve made this year. Whether it's through slow dancing by yourself in the living room, or closing your eyes and enjoying the fresh, spring sunshine on your face, I want to remind you of the joy of simply swaying to the rhythm of the momentum that you have cultivated in your life.

This month, I took an old favorite track of mine and worked backward, building around it. You’ll notice slight shifts from indie sounds to more jazz-infused tracks (signaled by brass instruments like the saxophone or trumpet which add a sensual edge) later dissolving back into soulful, heart-melting vocals. The tempos and instruments being used in these tracks may vary widely, but ultimately they’re all trying to point us in the same direction, towards something warmer.
