New Podcast - Beyond 2222: The Legacy of Comm. Chatterjee at FERC
Our new Grid Forward Chats podcast goes deep with FERC Commissioner Neil Chatterjee. During his tenure, FERC issued significant rulings about the opportunity for aggregated DERs to access markets, interconnection for storage and related resources, expanding the potential of cloud investments, and other key topics. Listen into our discussion about the role that markets and the federal regulator plays among the rapid dynamics unfolding in the electric sector.
Prepare for Potential Federal Investment in Our Working Groups

Grid Forward is forming working groups to start planning for the possibility of significant Federal investment in grid infrastructure. Deeper regional coordinating will help prepare interested parties and increase the likelihood of successful submissions. Please let us know by Friday, March 26. Choose the working group you want to join from these 10 key topics:
  • At-scale demonstrations of energy storage
  • Resiliency systems for low income communities (such as vehicle electrification access)
  • Transportation electrification (such as infrastructure for heavy duty vehicles/fleets)
  • Utility-scale, non-battery storage demonstrations (such as pumped hydro)
  • High renewable grid optimization
  • Incentives and market access for demand-side resources at scale
  • Grid vulnerability and threat mitigation (such as wildfire, cyber, etc)
  • Securing defense critical infrastructure
  • Relieving distribution and transmission capacity constraints
  • Communications and rural broadband
Join Upcoming Networking Socials and Utility Roundtable
