First, From the Heart
Today we need each other more than ever. We are all craving more connection and more meaningful relationships. Acts of authentic connection, just like compassion, elevate both the giver and receiver.
In response to this deeper impulse to connect, we are activating a global community gathering this Sunday. Already we have registrants from 29 countries, and hope to see more corners of the world represented by the time we turn on our Zoom. You can find details and registration information below. All are welcome!
That said, we are a small crew and need to focus most of our attention this week to bring the event to life. We hope to create a powerful gathering to foster greater meaning and deeper connection for all. We will return next week with a full newsletter agenda including the weekly blog and recommended read.
A gentle reminder – April 1 is the deadline for early bird pricing for our signature Compassionate Leadership and Resilience Training for Global Leaders. The feedback from previous cohorts aligns closely with the program’s intention. Yes, everyone learns from the curriculum and evidence-based practices. But our time in community, in close connection with inspiring colleagues from around the world, and in small groups sharing our wisdom and support for each other, is what sets this program apart. We invite you to come journey along with your peers as we launch the next cohort April 21.
We hope to see you in our free community gathering this Sunday, on our social channels, in our next cohort, and/or feel the halo of your good work in the world. Each of us are here to authentically connect and share our positive intentions for the benefit of all. Shine on!

Practice Matters
Connect For Life
One of the most fundamental ways we thrive is through connection to other human beings. This innate drive to connect is encoded in our cells, so deeply embedded in our bodies and minds. We are gifted with a neurological reward every single time we have a positive interaction. Negative interactions have the opposite effect and can lead to emotional and physical suffering and even disease.
Given the clear response signals, might we pay more attention to how connections contribute to our wellbeing? Observe what happens when you next encounter an uplifting, warm, or supportive connection with a loved one, colleague, or stranger. Let’s be intentional about creating more positive interactions for ourselves and others. It’s how we love, learn and grow, and infuse more meaning and joy into this one precious life.
When can we practice? Always!
