Notice of Night Work & Road Closure

As part of the Stage 2 O-Train Light Rail Transit (LRT) construction project a short-term closure of Holly Acres Road is required for the installation of bridge girders using a crane.

What

Holly Acres Road closure for construction work. A short-term detour will be in place with posted signage and portable variable message signage boards to direct traffic onto either Carling Avenue or Richmond Road.

When

March 26 to March 27, 2021. Construction schedules are subject to change with inclement weather.

Why

This construction work requires use of a large crane for installation of bridge girders.

Holly Acres Road at the Transitway

Hours

6:30 p.m. to 10:00 a.m.

Anticipated Impacts

Motorists travelling in this area should expect delays from the detour. Pedestrians will not be able to cross over Holly Acres Road at the Transitway during this time. Signage and portable variable message signage will be in place.
 

The safety of the public and workers is paramount, and we thank you for your patience during construction.
