Below is the connection information for the VCE/MGNV March 26 class on Preparing Your Garden for the Seventeen-Year Cicadas.
This class is oversubscribed. We often have folks that RSVP to attend and then do not show. To guarantee that you get into the class, we suggest that you sign into the Zoom meeting by 9:55 a.m.
The class will be recorded and will be available on the Best Management Practices Master Gardener Virtual Classroom page ASAP. It does take some time to edit and caption the video but we know this topic is time sensitive, so we will get it up as soon as possible. If we do actually reach our class limit of 500 attendees, you will be able to watch the recorded version. You can always email questions to the Extension Master Gardener Help Desk at mgarlalex@gmail.com.
In the meantime, feel free to check out Protecting Young Trees from Periodical Cicadas by our presenter, Extension Agent Kirsten Conrad.
Class Materials available online HERE.
We look forward to seeing you tomorrow.
Please connect a few minutes early if you can, as it may take a minute or two to connect and join the event; also sometimes Zoom may need to update itself. The facilitators will keep everyone muted with video off during the presentation; questions can be asked through the Chat box and will be answered at specific times during the presentation.
Please add events@mgnv.org to your 'safe senders' or contacts, or both. We have had issues with these emails going to spam folders.
If you are having issues including connecting to the class, please reply to this email and we will work to resolve the issue. Also, keep in mind the ZOOM interface is highly customizable to include opening/closing the chat and participants windows, as well as choosing a speaker view.
Thank you for your support of our programs.
