We are nationally-known for our community-focused work advancing sustainable practices, reducing fossil fuel use, creating clean energy, eliminating pollution and waste, promoting resiliency and ensuring healthy environments in which to live and work.   They are looking for an Assistant Project Manager/HERS Rater in Baltimore. 
 
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Conducting inspections of job sites for compliance with HERS and other rating systems;
  •  Providing formal and informal trainings of sub/contractors to help them achieve certifications and construct better buildings, including addressing building science issues, energy certification programs, ENERGY STAR checklists, etc.:
  • Performing field tests at rough and final construction for program compliance:
  • Reviewing technical documents such as building plans, specifications, and submittals to ensure that green design intent is incorporated and that green and energy efficiency features are buildable;
  •  Conducting construction inspections to ensure that projects are built as designed, that LEED, Passive House and Energy Star requirements are met, and that problems and issues are identified and resolved to the owner’s satisfaction;
  •  Coordinating and documenting green building rating system compliance; and
  • Securing utility rebates for clients, including completing applications, working with utility representatives, and filing rebate forms.

Insulation/Weatherization Technician

Requirements:

  • Familiarity with hand and power tools and a desire to learn weatherization techniques.
  • BPI certification, Weatherization Installer certification and/or OSHA certification preferred.
  • The position requires working in dark, uncomfortable and confined environments. Employees must be able to crawl through and work in constricted spaces.
  • Requires basic knowledge of the construction of residential dwellings and housing types.

Tesla
 The Energy System Designer II will report to the Energy System Design Team Lead and is responsible for designing solar photovoltaic systems for Tesla’s residential clients throughout the U.S. using Tesla proprietary software.

The position requires the ability to develop a system design from photos and survey information of the jobs site. The ability to be detail-oriented with projects is a must; the ideal candidate will be able to manage a large volume of projects while demonstrating excellent communication skills.

Weekend work will be required for this position.

BAS Technician II

Responsible for programming, commissioning, diagnosing, servicing and repairing Building Automation Systems (BAS) and  Control systems, utilizing knowledge of electronics, direct digital controls, HVAC airflow, hydronics, refrigeration theory, and most current control techniques.  Responsible for managing, tracking, and maintaining multiple BAS projects within time, scope, and budget and to our customers’ satisfaction.  Under general supervision completes assigned work to be a productive member of the operations team to deliver exceptional customer experiences and profitable growth for the company. 

Salary range:  $35 to $45 per hour plus an excellent benefits package.
