Hello Friend,
What an incredible Angel Oregon Tech session we had this week! Enormous thanks go out to Meredith Fox from White Summers, investor and board advisor Kate Niedermeyer, Next Ventures co-founder Mel Strong, and entrepreneurs Mandana Salehi-Stewart, ZibaHub, and Brooke Jackson, Rising Wild. The conversation dug deep on what investors *really* want, how they make decisions, and how to find the fit that helps founders metabolize investment to meet their real goals and milestones. The recording and transcript of the session are open to all registered AOTech entrepreneurs and committed investors.
Angel Oregon Tech is supported this week by White Summers, and Meredith Fox offered a wealth of real world experience supporting investors and entrepreneurs in closing investment and acquisition deals. Meredith will be hosting a follow-up session on April 21st to dive deep into deal types, open to all, so stay tuned for details and registration links.
Who are the AOTech entrepreneurs? There are about 90 of them in total, all tech startups from across the Pacific Northwest, including BC. About half are concept stage companies and half are growth, and nearly 40% include a founder or co-founder of color. If you're an angel investor interested in meeting them, there is still time to get involved! Please shoot us an email at info@oen.org to get details about joining the investor pool. We'll be hosting one last information session on Tuesday at 11am in partnership with Keiretsu Forum, and then due diligence kicks-off next Friday.
