Women's History Month on Art UK

Throughout March, we've been celebrating Women's History Month with stories that showcase the remarkable contributions of women in history and contemporary society.

From Joan Eardley's intensity of expression to artist and muse Isabel Rawsthorne and from Brenda Chamberlain's life and practice on Bardsey Island to Surrealist Eileen Agar's symbolism of the sea, explore the often underrepresented stories of women who have made their mark.
