LUNGguard, a new cold storage device used for transportation of donor lungs, was used recently for the first time at Duke University Hospital in North Carolina. The device is the result of a 3-year collaboration between Paragonix and the Lung Transplant Foundation. The device maintains lungs at hypothermic storage for up to 8 hours. READ MORE
