FOBP is continuing to campaign against the developments along the southside of the park. We believe that the 10 and 11 storey towers along the park edge are:
- too tall, inappropriate height and mass, the site is not designated for tall buildings in council planning policy
- the buildings will block the sun overshadowing the park, impact on ecology and wildlife and how people currently use the woodland area
- out of scale with St George's Church tower
- the height of buildings is not in keeping with the local area or the park edge
We are all exhausted with attending exhibitions and responding to planning applications. But we must ask you once again to respond and object to these applications. Read the FOBP response to the Joseph Homes scheme.
