NCLC2021
Join us in April for the first-ever NCLC Career Symposium for insights on how you can “level up” your career as a Chinese language educator. A panel of experienced educators will share their pathways from teaching into areas of leadership, administration, and mentoring. Learn tips and strategies for career growth and find out what it takes to be a leader, in your own classroom and beyond.

We've also added a new preconference workshop led by the National Foreign Language Center (NFLC): "Involve Me, I’ll Learn: Brain-Based Lesson Design."

And don't miss the special Saturday morning session with Viviane Chen. Chen is a devoted practitioner and teacher of TaiChi and spirituality; she believes that a peaceful mind, compassionate heart, and healthy body are the keys to a fulfilling life.

The 2021 National Chinese Language Conference will be held as a three-day, interactive virtual experience. NCLC’s robust content features cutting-edge best practices and information for PK–16 Chinese language teachers, world language specialists, and education leaders.

Talking about School Schedules – TEQ

We're pleased to share another new activity from our TEQ library. Fangzhou Zhang’s 7th-grade Chinese class at Montclair Kimberley Academy in New Jersey uses Google Meet and Google Jamboard to organize hybrid learning for a speaking task, and the students communicate, socialize, and collaborate with one another in this virtual learning setting. Zhang successfully demonstrates how to use technology and learning activities to connect her students in the classroom with those at home, and enable them to work together similar to the way they would in a regular classroom.
