Thanks to all who have made donations of kitchen utensils and more for our Lenten Collection. Church groups, individuals, and anonymous donors have dropped off more than 500 items to help our neighbors. As we finish our Lenten journey, we thank all who reached out during this season to help others. Final collections can be dropped off at HOPE on Tuesday and Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., and larger group collections can be scheduled for pick-up.

For years HOPE For All has collected school supplies so that teachers and schools in the county would have a resource for their students' basic needs. At times, it was much used; in recent years, we've received few requests from schools for supplies, and we've struggled to reach teachers who need them.
The good news is that many school supply drives and collections have sprung up to assist schools with populations in need. Instead of duplicating this effort, we've decided to discontinue collecting school supplies, and we were able to locate a nonprofit where we could distribute most of our inventory.
The Assistance League of the Chesapeake actively partners with seven Title I schools in the county in the Annapolis and West County areas. We are confident that they will get these supplies directly to the students who need them.

,Dear Friends and Faithful HOPE Followers
Let us rejoice in the God Who is all GOODNESS. How good we might ask? Look at His outstretched hands on the cross. Now He is risen and stretches out His welcoming hands once more. He is goodness, love, mercy, gentleness, humility, and peace. "May our faith be renewed and may we meet You on our life's journey and be complete in Your Divine Mercy and Glorious Resurrection. AMEN!" -Leo
LOVE OVERCAME
by Julie Palmer
Love overcame
Emerging from a tomb so cold
All the truth, majesty, and creativity of a loving God
Transforming a broken heart
Making a quiet return, in a still and sorrowful garden
The gravestone rolled away, to release redemptive love
Jesus resurrected and restored
Comforts a weeping woman
Speaks with travelers on a journey
Meets with His faithful friends
And they bow down before Christ alive
And acknowledged that the savior has arrived
That the word of God has come alive
The extraordinary transformation of heaven and earth
Is now complete
