Scripture for Easter Sunday

In our gospel reading this Sunday, Mary Magdalene arrives at the tomb to find it empty. When she tells other, skeptical disciples, they run to see for themselves. Later, Jesus comes to Mary Magdalene, who is weeping at the empty tomb. Jesus reveals his identity and asks her to again share astounding news with the other disciples. She offers the first Easter sermon, declaring, "I have seen the Lord!"

Share Your Holy Week Photos
Holy Week and Easter celebrations look a little different this year. Still, we are gathered and held together by God, whether we worship in person or across our screens. To capture this unique year and our many experiences of worship, we want to collect your photos from Holy Week and Easter services. Stay tuned for these images to brighten our website, newsletter, and other forums!

Community Partners with Youth
Virtual Spring Event on April 6th

Community Partners with Youth (CPY) invites you to join us on April 6, 2021 for our Virtual Spring Event. Come and learn about how CPY has engaged youth through the pandemic and continues to help them succeed in school. We are thrilled to have Justice Alan Page as the featured speaker.

Justice Alan Page has had an illustrious and varied career. He played football for the Minnesota Vikings and in the NFL, and he was inducted in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. He earned a B.A from the University of Notre Dame and a J. D. from the U of M Law School. With his late wife, Diane, Justice Page founded the Page Education Foundation. In 1992, he became the first African American on the Minnesota Supreme Court.

This is a free event; however this is a fundraising event and donations will be accepted. All proceeds will help CPY provide educational opportunities and build social and life skills for youth in our area. This event replaces our annual spring luncheon fundraising event.
