During these town halls, the team will be discussing UUS’s newly updated phases and hearing from members about your questions and concerns as we move into phases 2 and 3 and begin planning for phase 4. You can read about the
updated phases here.
Questions for reflection:
- Who, what groups, are most on your heart as you think about coming back to in-person gatherings?
- What concerns and questions do you have? What concerns and questions might others have? Are there things you don’t have words for?
- What do our principles, our values, and our covenants ask of us and tell us?
- How might we as a congregation help all of us navigate the emotional, spiritual, and mental stresses of this next phase of the pandemic?
- What types of communities might help us be nimble and create spaces for different needs?
If you can't attend one of these town halls, we invite you to review the updated COVID
phases chart and
powerpoint, reflect on these questions, and talk with a member of the COVID Team. Team members are: Marsha Cheney, Mary McMurray, Peg Voelker, Dan Gall, Kim Palmer, Amy Fretz, Emma Barnum, Peggy Garrigues, Jessica Zimmer, and Rev. Diana Smith.
The team will be holding another set of town halls at the end of April and in early May as we move further into physical reopening.
