Wellington SCL (WSCL) are upgrading reports for Histology, Non-gynae Cytology, Bone Marrow, Flow Cytometry and hospital Post-Mortem tests on the evening of March 25, 2021. 

The upgrade will allow the optional of images and improved table display inside the PDF report. The PDF version will be available through the Clinical Data Repository (CDR) and to referrers currently receiving printed reports.

Additional messages within the HL7 report indicate where the PDF report is preferred for viewing the report

Along with the upgrade to the Histology reports, the Bowel Screening Programme reports will be reformatted on the evening of March 25, 2021. 

The main diagnosis currently prints beneath the abbreviations.  To assist in making this clearer, it will move into the report table, renamed as Diagnosis.  This will replace the Polyp Type column.

COLLECTION CENTRE EASTER OPENING HOURS
 

All collection centres are closed on both Easter public holidays (i.e. Friday and Monday) No change to Saturday collection centre opening hours.

CASHLESS PAYMENTS AT COLLECTION CENTRES
 

As of Monday 12 April 2021 Wellington SCL will no longer be taking cash payments at our collection centres (for tests not funded by 3DHB). The options for payment will be by Eftpos using direct debit or credit card (Visa and Mastercard).
