An Estonian company has come up with an air quality monitoring solution that can be used to assess indoor air quality and ventilation efficiency in real time, helping evaluate the danger of spreading the novel coronavirus; the solution has now been deployed at a Tallinn school. Read more HERE.

Estonian-led insurance startup Zego becomes a unicorn

Commercial motor insurer Zego – a London, UK-based company that’s led and co-founded by an Estonian – has become a unicorn, having raised USD150 million and is now valued at USD1.1 billion. Read more HERE

Nasal and throat spray called Tsilk

Researchers of the University of Tartu studied the medical mineral water of Estonia’s Värska resort and confirmed that it can effectively support the treatment of upper respiratory diseases. Read more HERE
