LivingProof of ageing well

“A great and interesting story transforms not only the person telling the story but all who receive it.” – Rosa Matto, Writer.

Our client Bene Aged Care has launched an exhibition celebrating the stories of everyday individuals living and working in elderly care, whose life experiences shape our communities and our culture.

LivingProof, open at the Migration Museum until June, celebrates the often over-looked moments of joy, beauty and engagement in the elderly care community. The exhibition and accompanying book shares the stories of residents, clients, their families, staff and volunteers as told by author and chef Rosa Matto and brought to life with beautiful images by Italo Vardaro.

Hughes worked with Bene to promote LivingProof, including interviews on the ABC and 5AA, stories in The Sunday Mail, in industry publications, regional media and on Italian-language programs. Hughes is also managing the ongoing social media promotion of the exhibition in paid and organic formats. Find out more and experience this heart warming exhibition at www.bene.org.au/livingproof

Book design: Engagement Matters

The Hughes team partnered with Engagement Australia, a peak alliance of Australian and New Zealand universities, to design their latest book titled Engagement Matters: Curriculum challenges for universities

The book brings together writings specifically on key aspects of university engagement and the curriculum. Hughes designed, edited and published the book, which is expected to foster and provoke debate on how universities engage with some of the major issues of our time.
