How can companies discover, cultivate and operationalise innovative ideas?

Most organisational transformation books tout the importance of innovation culture. However, Safi Bahcall, author of Loonshots, highlights that culture is nothing without structure: "There is a common saying in business that culture eats strategy for breakfast. My point is that structure eats culture for lunch!" Read a good summary of his insights on Forbes here.

More companies are embracing technology adoption, but are unprepared for its cyber risks.

The World Economic Forum highlights the five main cybersecurity challenges that global leaders should consider and tackle in 2021. What is also worrying is how quickly and creatively cyber attack methods are evolving: for example, a recent discovery reveals that threat actors can now hide ZIP and MP3 files inside PNG files on Twitter, which could make social media an unregulated hotbed for cyberattacks in the future.

We create and curate thematic ecosystems that change the way we innovate to drive sustainable growth and impact. Learn more about our programmes at padang.co and about our innovation hubs below. Connect with us on LinkedIn or contact us at innovation@padang.co
