Now Accepting Applications: NFPA University Grant
The NFPA University Fluid Power Grant Program will help bring fluid power curriculum into more agricultural, electrical and mechanical engineering programs across the country. The NFPA Education and Technology Foundation will provide up to $8,000 per grant. For the 2021-2022 year, NFPA is looking to specifically fund university grant projects that create electrical and data acquisition and controls curricula that will ultimately be shared on the NFPA Curricula Tree. Now Accepting Applications: NFPA Robotics Challenge Scholarship
One merit-based scholarship for $40,000 ($10,000 per year for four years) will be awarded to a high school senior who participates as part of a FIRST® Robotics or NRL Competition Team. This scholarship may be used to study engineering at any accredited technical college or university in the U.S. The deadline to apply is May 1, 2021. Meet Fluid Power Scholarship Winners
The NFPA Education and Technology Foundation has awarded $2,000 scholarships to students pursuing fluid power technology fields of study.

Dane Rogers is using his scholarship to attend Spokane Community College and enroll in the fluid power program. Learn more.

IFPS Launches "Geared Up Grad" Sweepstakes
The International Fluid Power Society is launching a sweepstakes for students who are looking to enhance their knowledge of and presence within the fluid power industry. Submissions are open and will close on May 10. Students are asked to submit via email: a photo of themselves, updated resume, proof of student status, and a brief survey. The winning prize includes a one-year IFPS membership, IFPS swag bag, an announcement in the Fluid Power Journal and IFPS social media channels, a copy of the Fluid Power Reference Handbook and a personal email from IFPS Board Members. IFPS Accepting Nominations for 2021 Hall of Fame
The International Fluid Power Society is now accepting nominations for this year’s Fluid Power Hall of Fame. Last year, IFPS reviewed applications and inducted five industry leaders in recognition of individuals – innovators, researchers, application engineers, educators, as well as sales and service personnel who have made significant, lifetime contributions to the fluid power industry. Nominations for 2021 will be accepted until April 15, 2021. Any person can nominate an individual, living or deceased, who has demonstrated excellence within their 25+ year fluid power career.
