This Sunday!

He is Risen! Worship with us this Sunday as we continue with part 2 of our new sermon series, "Fully Alive: Life After Easter," and learn why it's better to be a "Living Offering."

We will worship in person at 8:30 and 10:00 in our Sanctuary and online at 10:00 via
Facebook Live and our website. Our service will include a time of "hymn sing," so come ready to call out your favorites!

This Sunday! Kids Jam Worship

We welcome children from age 4 through 5th grade for Kids JAM Worship in the Fellowship Hall on Sunday mornings during the 10:00AM worship service.

To stay up to date with Children's Ministry, parents and guardians can join our Kids Jam Facebook Page HERE.

This Sunday! Refuge Youth

We welcome youth from 6th through 12th grade to Refuge Youth Group on Sundays from 5:00-7:00PM for fellowship, discipleship, games, discussion, prayer, and Bible teaching.

Want more information on Refuge Youth events? Text @wesander to 81010 or request to be a part of the email list by emailing Wes at thewesanderson@gmail.com.

Come learn and grow together in community! Pastor Jonathan is teaching through Paul's letter to the Galatians on Wednesday nights at 6PM in person in our Fellowship Hall and online via our church Facebook Page and website.

Good news, church family! There will be an interest meeting on April 25 after the 10AM service in the Fellowship Hall for a possible relaunch of Celebrate Recovery. If you have been a part of Celebrate Recovery in the past or want to find out what it is all about, come join us on April 25.

Looking for a place to serve? This ministry typically offers opportunities for kitchen help, greeters, media workers, team leaders, social media helpers, and especially prayer warriors.

We are eager to begin looking at the possibility of relaunching this vital ministry to offer the hope and healing of Celebrate Recovery to our church family and surrounding communities. If you have any questions in the meantime,

We Are Hiring a New Children's Director

We shared in the weeks before Easter that our wonderful Children's Director, Marie Bartle, will be transitioning out of that role. She agreed to stay on through the month of April as we continue to seek her replacement. Her last Sunday as Children's Director will officially be April 25, one week from this Sunday. We have been increasing our efforts in posting this position and seeking potential candidates and would appreciate your help. We know that the greatest chance of finding the right person depends on getting it in front of as many eyes as possible. Please share this job posting with anyone you think might be interested and qualified.

Covid Protocols Update 4-15-2021
Last Monday, our Joel Council voted unanimously to hold to our current Covid protocols for another month, at least until May 10, when the Council will meet again to assess how recent changes in our state have effected case numbers.

Current Covid Protocols:
  • Wearing masks/face coverings upon entering and exiting
  • Practicing hand hygiene - We now have sanitizer dispensers throughout our campus.
  • Strongly encouraged to keep masks on during worship
  • Social distancing between those on the pew not from the same household
  • Every other pew is roped off to maintain social distancing, and the ropes are flipped in between services so that pews, Bibles, and hymnals are only used once a Sunday
  • We have two identical in-person services in an effort to make room for worshipers
  • Our 10:00 service is streamed online via Facebook Live and our website for those who worship from home
  • Our Kids Jam Worship meets during the 10AM service in the Fellowship Hall. Parents and guardians can check-in children from age 4 through 5th grade in the Fellowship Hall on their way to worship in the Sanctuary.
  • The Fellowship Hall can be used throughout the week for groups and classes that want to meet. Here is a link to protocols for in-person group meetings: Guidelines for Meeting In Person.pdf
