Making First Foods Count:
UNICEF’s Programming Approach (2020-2030)

Wednesday, 5 May 2021, 8 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. (EDT)
Dear colleagues,

I am pleased to announce our second Global Nutrition Webinar to support the roll-out of the UNICEF Nutrition Strategy 2020-2030. Every 4-6 weeks, a Global Nutrition Webinar will contribute to building the capacity of UNICEF’s Nutrition workforce. We will share new guidance, innovations, and better practices from global, regional, and country experience to strengthen UNICEF’s programming in maternal and child nutrition.

Join me and our teams for our second Global Nutrition Webinar on Making First Foods Count: UNICEF’s Programming Approach (2020-2030). We will share UNICEF’s approach to improving young children’s diets during the complementary feeding period - using a systems approach. Speakers from three country offices (Ethiopia, Ghana and Pakistan) will share their experience and lessons from implementing actions to improve young children's diets through the food, health and social protection systems.
