EXCEPTIONAL SUPPORT REQUESTS

Alaska INBRE's primary aim is to expand the multi-disciplinary research and teaching network to support biomedical and health research expertise, infrastructure, and translational capacity. Occasionally, requests for funding outside of current opportunities can be made. This process is not intended to supplement or replace existing opportunities but to address exceptional requests.

Funding limits are determined by the PI in consultation with either the INBRE Administrative Core or the Management Advisory Committee (MAC). Requests will be reviewed during the next available meeting. Once approved, the funds will be administered through the home institution department with oversight from the INBRE Fiscal Officer.
