Carrie Carter is a proud Baltimore native and a 2020 graduate of the Maryland
Institute college of Art, where she earned her BFA in Product Design and Humanistic Studies with a concentration in Sustainability and Social Practice. Reside Burials is helping to make green burial solutions more accessible.
Ruth Haas of Mourning Dove Studio produces and wholesales cardboard
coffins. They are Green Burial Council certified, made from recycled
material, and have perfect surfaces to decorate to say goodbye
in personally meaningful ways.
Dina Stander is a poet, End-of-life Navigator, and burial shroud maker. A practitioner
of radical kinship, she is the founder of the Northeast Death Care Collaborative,
and offers workshops on shrouding, grieving, and being. www.lastdanceshrouds.com
