Request a Neighborhood Speed Radar

The neighborhood speed radar program is five mobile speed radar signs that rotate to different neighborhood streets and serve as an education tool encouraging motorists to drive the speed limit. The radars are placed from May through October at locations selected by the Neighborhood Associations. To request a speed radar, tell us of a specific location, direction preference, and issue. (Example: Please install a radar on eastbound Abbey Road just west of Penny Lane on the no parking sign. Cars are speeding as they cut through to the shopping center.) Requests will be prioritized and submitted to the City. You can read more about the program and see data from past installations here.

COID Development Update

Some of you already subscribe to the separate Neighborhood Development Updates email list, and have seen the latest information there regarding potential development on the COID land on the southern edge of SCNA. For those of you that haven't and are interested, you can read the latest update here, and subscribe to that list if you wish.

All neighbors in Southern Crossing NA are welcome to attend the board meetings. If you would like to request time on the agenda to address the board, please email chair@bendscna.org at least 2 days prior to the meeting.
