About the role
 
This is a great opportunity for an inspirational individual to join us as our Partnerships & Development ManagerThis is a role that will ensure PeoplePlus makes a real impact across Yorkshire and the North East, through the development of strategic and operational partnerships.  We’re looking for someone who is highly motivated to take responsibility for creating and delivering PeoplePlus’ partner and stakeholder engagement programmes that showcase the very best of our organisation.
 
A key aspect of this role involves supporting business development and bid activity. The successful candidate will be collaborative, adept at building and maintaining positive relationships with external stakeholders.  They will be a real team player, sharing information and market insights with colleagues and senior management, helping to ensure we use local insights to inform continuous improvement in our service design and delivery. 
 
Have you got what it takes?
 
You will need to be proactive with high ethical standards and take personal accountability for everything you do. You must always look to be the best and be a brand ambassador for PeoplePlus. You will have experience working in a partnership role within the Employability, Skills, Enterprise or Justice & Communities sectors and, ideally, a good grasp of the relevant funding streams.
 
This role requires excellent communication and organisational skills with an ability to prioritise a demanding workload, meet deadlines and make clear decisions.
 
Ideally, you will have had experience in a business development team, supporting the development of bids.
