Principal's Corner
As you are aware, Mrs. Poncini will be moving across the parking lot to the parish next year and Mrs. Adams will be moving to first grade. Today I have the pleasure of introducing our new second grade teacher, Lisa Cotta. Ms. Cotta comes to us with over 30 years early education experience in Manteca and with Modesto City Schools. She is excited to provide a spiritual and educational foundation for our students and we are excited to welcome her. Ms. Cotta will be available to meet our upcoming 2nd graders and families at our Roadrunner Roundup on August 4th.

Attention: The end of the 2020-21 scrip year is Next Week
Please call the school office at 823-4513, or send an email to scrip@sasmanteca.org to place a scrip order. Remember to include a contact number. Any items we do not have in stock will automatically be put on back order unless otherwise stated by you.

Donations for SAS Annual Auction Dinner
Save the date for St. Anthony's Annual Auction Dinner June 12th. This event will not only include great food and friends but will be full of wonderful auction items from our school and the greater community. An event like this could not be possible without the generous contributions of school members such as yourself. Please consider supporting the Auction Dinner by donating merchandise, gift certificates, service and/or monetary donations. If you would like to help procure donations for the school, we are happy to print letters for you to take to your favorite businesses.

First Holy Communion Mass this Saturday
Congratulations to our 3rd grade class and those students that are also receiving their First Holy Communion this Saturday. Since the Mass will be held outdoors, you are welcome to bring extended family members to attend this joyous occasion. As of now it looks like the rain will hold off until Sunday. If it happens to rain on Saturday, we will need to limit the amount of people entering the church to immediate family only. For additional information including time to be at the school, pictures, seating etc., please refer to your email from Mrs. Israel and Mrs. Lahman.

Afternoon Pick Up Procedures
Please leave the student name placard in your window until your student is safely in your car. We first call the student from the classrooms and then call the students to the correct cone to line up. We are slowly learning who belongs to which car, but we still need your help. If you need an additional placard, please call the office and we will be happy to print another for you.

Refer a Family - Earn one-month Free Tuition
Refer a new family, K-8, (Preschool/PreK classes do not qualify) to St. Anthony's Catholic School, once the family is enrolled - you earn one month's tuition credit to be applied to your FACTS account. The more families you refer, the more credit you earn! The free month of tuition is applied after the new incoming family has been enrolled for a trimester.
*Families MUST include your name in the referral section of the application to ensure you receive credit.

St. Vincent de Paul Thank You
St.Vincent de Paul would like to thank all of the parents and students who supported us with your bountiful supply of food during the 2020 holiday food drive. It was through your generosity that we were able to provide nutritious meals for those in need. While our food pantry has remained open since COVID the clothing closet was shuttered. We now plan to reopen it in May and are once again in need of donations. We are looking for basic clothing: gently used pants, shorts, t-shirts, tank tops, tennis shoes, and sandals (no dressy clothes or shoes) for men, women, and children. If you are spring cleaning or your children are outgrowing their clothing, please consider a donation to us. We are open Wednesday and Friday from 1:30-3:30 for drop-off. Thank you, your servants in Christ, the members of St. Vincent de Paul.
