My name is Latosha. I am honored to be able to share my story of freedom and hope about how Grace Ministry has impacted my life.
For over 20 years I was in the grips of alcoholism, which led me down the pathway of a very dark lifestyle. I was in some serious legal problems that left me feeling hopeless. By the grace of God, my federal attorney introduced me to a safe, sober living home called Awakenings House. Once I arrived, I was introduced to Grace Ministry of Helping Hands. They provided me with rental assistance for several months while I stayed at Awakenings House. They also helped me at Christmas time to provide gifts for my 13-year-old daughter. I had no idea that such a love even existed. I have grown in my relationship with God and feel like a child of God.
I am now ten months sober, have a job and self-sufficient through my own contributions. I’ve been given the opportunity to give back through serving others at Awakenings House as the van driver for the house. I drive other women where they need to be, whether it be to work, appointments or recovery meetings.
Thank you Grace Ministry and thank you God for giving me this priceless gift of your love!

Awakenings House 1st Annual 5K Race for Hope
Join us for the 1st Annual Run/Walk for HOPE 5K to Benefit The Villages of Hope, an expansion of Awakenings House! This event will be held Saturday April 24, 2021 at Orange Park City Hall.

Villages of Hope
The Villages of Hope provides a sanctuary, a place of refuge, healing and restoration to women seeking a life free from sexual exploitation and substance abuse. You can also shop and support The Villages of Hope. The Shops of Hope features beautiful, handmade products from a variety of non-profit organizations. All sale proceeds will go toward The Villages of Hope which offers transitional housing and healing-based programs to women survivors of sexual exploitation and substance abuse .
