Hi <<First Name>>,

What's emerging is totally new. There's no map, no defined pathway, or rules for the road ahead. It can feel like a lot to navigate and that's where the energy of today's New Moon is here to support you.

The "how to" on navigating what's ahead comes by shifting away from the norm of looking to the external world for the answers and guidance. The revolutionary step is to now look inward - to tune in, listen to, and lead from the inside. We are all being called to source our guidance from within, to more intimately get to know the terrain of our inner landscape, and to develop a more reliable relationship with our soul.

It is time to shift your focus and root more deeply into turning your gaze inward. You're being called to have this be a new practice for how you start your day. You're being called to get centered for your day before consuming anything from, or sharing anything with, the outside world. You're being called to start each day from a feeling of wholeness, connection, and "at homeness". You're also being called to ensure you don't stray far from this place as the day moves on - and to reconnect as needed.

This is not about tuning the outside world out, this is about being able to respond to, show up and share in a way that's most aligned with your heart and soul. This is about starting your day with grace and in alignment with your center point - so that you interact with the world in a way that feels rooted, grounded and unshakable.

It's as though we're all blind and the path to sight will come by first going inward.

If what you've been feeling lately feels foreign, that's because it is. If it's been creating feelings of anxiety, depression, overwhelm, agitation, desires to withdraw, and/or incredible passion, then you're right there with it. It's affecting everyone differently. It depends on where you're at on your soul journey and relates to your default way of dealing with uncharted territory, uncertainty and/or new beginnings.

If heavier emotions and experiences are surfacing, it's likely symptomatic of the fact that you're doing your best to recreate and exist in the old paradigm. The truth is, the world as we knew it - that old familiar territory you may be craving - just doesn't exist any longer. This is not something to be feared, because we're co-creating something new. Something that has the potential to be better than we'd ever imagined, and it begins with the simple practice of committing to begin each day by tuning your gaze inward.

There is a collective thread holding us together. It's been weaving itself for almost a year now. It's sewn together our similarities, smoothes out the differences, and merges together the spaces we're here to support one another with. It's a beautiful piece in the making. We can't see it just yet - but, the more we tune in, we'll be able to feel it. When you've taken the time to tune in, to listen, and to lead from the inside, that's when you'll feel and be more aware of what's being woven.

The higher wisdom is guiding you to trust yourself more than ever before. Release what you think you know. Let go of the old way and be open to co-create this beautiful piece of something new. Be mindful that the answer is not on the outside. It's not from an external influence or force. It's coming from an inward one.

The beauty of this guidance is that you have nothing to lose by trying. So give it a try. See what comes. Why not? My heart feels that there's a lot more to lose if we don't.
Journal prompts to support you...

1. a) How have I been feeling lately? And how does that relate to the soul wisdom shared above? (i.e. have I been feeling the tug toward this new energy? or have I been resisting it?)

b) How comfortable am I with change? How open am I feeling to the idea of a new paradigm being created? What does that mean for me?

2. What does tuning inward to start my day look like?

Some ideas and supportive tools:
  • Begin your day asking yourself, "what do I want?" and/or "what is my heart craving?" and allow this to be your question and navigation tool as the day unfolds within each choice, action and decision you make (what food you eat, what activities you engage in, what people you spend time with, how you respond, etc...)
  • Journaling is a powerful practice to draw your awareness inward. If you're new to journaling click here for a supportive 5 minute practice.
  • Music is an incredible tool for allowing your focus and energy to remain inward. Turn on some soothing meditative music that supports a calm, inward focus.
  • Intentional movement is a powerful way to stay connected with where you're at - dance, walk, run, yoga. Click here for some yoga practices to support you.
  • Meditation is another very powerful practice. If sitting on your own (perhaps with some meditative music) isn't where you're at, click here for some guided meditations.
You've got this. We're in this together.

Sending you much love and a giant permission slip to create the space to tune in. I promise, it's safe there - and if any of this feels too overwhelming or your heart desires more support, reply to this email and let's have a chat. I'm here for you.

Happy New Moon,

Curious where this moon wisdom comes from?

There are so many beautiful sources that share brilliant insights about the moon cycles and the various events happening in the cosmos. I am not an astrologer, BUT my intuition is strong and deeply connected, so I rely on it as the source that feeds the insights and soul wisdom I share in each email.

In the days leading up to the moon, I tap into and receive the energy of the moon and invite it's wisdom to come through in my journaling sessions, meditation time, or beach walks. The insights and wisdom transmitted during these times of inward reflection are what create each moon email I share with you.
I'd love to hear from you! Be in touch anytime any shares, questions or comments - catherine@catherinecowan.com
