Spring 2021 Newsletter
The snow and ice is all gone, as the warmth and sunshine of Spring calls us outdoors. Our library has seasonal books and resources to help you maintain and plant your yard; spruce up / decorate your house; make crafts for Mother's Day or start to plan days out (socially distanced of course).
If the April showers are keeping you indoors, how about losing yourself in a book? Check out the latest edition of Bookpage, available in the library, for inspiration and recommendations. April is also Poetry Month, so why not join our online Poetry Blast on the 15th to commemorate, celebrate and inspire through verse.

National Library Workers Day 2021
In these especially trying times, the Friends of the Library would like to express their appreciation and pride for the Pompton Lakes Library Staff in celebration and recognition of National Library Workers Day (April 6th).
In recognition of their courage and dedication to the Pompton Lakes Library during the COVID 19 Pandemic, the Friends of the Library have donated and dedicated a copy of The Library Book by Tom Chapin and Michael Mark (2017). The book could be read during a story hour, or by a parent at a child's bedtime as a playful tribute to our libraries.

The library is now fully open to the public, but please keep the following in mind...
- Maximum seven visitors, limited to 45 minutes
- Masks need to be worn and social distancing
- Computers limited to 45 minute sessions
- Hand sanitizing and wipes are available
Monday – Thursday, 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Friday, 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Saturday, 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Materials will be automatically renewed for a further loan period on the day they're due (except where requested by other patrons or Items that have already reached their third renewal).
