Secretary Nominee Bio
Amber Raines

I would love to thank the MATT membership for the opportunity to serve as your secretary the past two years, and would love to be given the opportunity again. The past two years have been very rewarding, and I have been able to learn so much about our organization. I earned a B.S.A.S in Forensic Science and Chemistry from Youngstown State University in 2015 and I am currently working towards my masters degree in forensic toxicology from the University of Florida. During my time as an undergrad I completed internships at Miami Valley Regional Crime Lab in Dayton, Ohio and Omega Laboratories in Mogadore, Ohio. The time I spent in my internships allowed me to gain valuable and hands on experience to continue my career in forensic toxicology.  Shortly after graduation I accepted a position at the Franklin County Coroner’s Office in Columbus, Ohio where I’m currently an assistant toxicologist. I look forward to dedicating my time and continuing to be more involved with MATT.
