Reminder Early Release Day
Wednesday, April 14th

Our next early release day of the school year is Wednesday, April 14th our school hours are 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM. 

Our standard staggered dismissal will run with the same process as it does on a full school day.

  • 11:30-12:00 --- 1st round dismissal (green stickers on car tags)
  • 12:00-12:30 --- 2nd round dismissal

After care is available to those who are pre-registered.

OR Students May Donate $6 

Please read carefully, this is NOT AN ALL STUDENT dress down day

Homeroom teachers will be given rosters to validate those students who were awarded this non-uniform day.  

Additional Students May Still Participate!
Any student(s) still wishing to participate in this non-uniform day can turn in their donation of $6.00 to their teacher on Wednesday, April 14th.  Funds will apply to Bolts of Blue Campaign.

 
3rd Quarter Report Cards - Online Only
  • Middle School Report Cards will be available for online viewing beginning Thursday, April 15th
  • Elementary Report Cards will be available for online viewing beginning Monday, April 19th
 
Report cards are accessed through the report card and testing portal at https://reportcards.sdhc.k12.fl.us
 
Families can access the report cards website two ways:
  1. Students can access their own report cards by logging in with their user ID and password:
    User ID is 7 digit student number (ex 1234567) and password is birthmonthdayyear (ex 01152011 for Jan 15, 2011)
  2. Parents can access their student's report card, PIN can be requested by selecting "Request a PIN" on the report cards website. A PIN can be sent to the email address or mobile phone number of a parent/guardian
 

DooDad Sculpture Competition
Deadline April 16th

Discounted PDQ Cards for Sale ($10 Card for only $7)
Lutz Prep has partnered with PDQ to enhance the education of our LP students.  PDQ has allotted Lutz Prep a limited number of $10 gift cards that are available for purchase for only $7.  We are pleased to sell these cards at a 30% discount to our Lutz Prep families & friends.  These cards are good at all PDQ locations and do not expire!
 
Sales ends when the inventory of cards is depleted.  All proceeds raised from the sale of these gift cards will go directly back to our school for programs that benefit our children.   
 
It's simple:
  1. Complete the form linked below detailing the amount of cards requested and amount paid.   Limit is 10 cards per family due to the limited supply.  
  2. Attach payment to this form.
  3. Return to your homeroom teacher.

OPTIONAL:  1st Day School Supplies One Stop Shopping
Deadline to Place Order:  Thursday, July 1, 2021

Great news!  Lutz Preparatory PTA has continued their partnership with 1st Day School Supplies to give you an OPTIONAL way to help make your back to school shopping for next year a breeze!  This is not a fundraiser but rather an opportunity to save you time this summer.  The school supply kits are ready to go with the exact supplies your LP teachers have requested.  Each kit will be delivered directly to your 2021-22 teacher's classroom before the first day of school.

You can order your school supplies for the 2021-22 school year now! 
You are just a few clicks away from getting everything you need for next year!!!  It is super easy … click, pay, done!  Now you can plan on what to do with the time you would have spent at the store and in line! 

For Families Who Prefer to Shop on Their Own
Families can always choose to purchase school supplies on their own.  It is NOT required that families order school supplies through this company, this is just a different option for shopping.

Additional Important Information
Please note, a consumable instructional materials fee and additional items may be added during the school year based on factors included but not limited to:

  • Individual student schedule
  • Elementary Grades:  specials classes - Art/Music/PE/Tech/Spanish
  • Middle Grades:  elective classes
  • Certain classes will have supply lists on their syllabus that will be communicated prior to the start of school or the first day of class
  • School wide Leader In Me resources
  • Teacher selected/preferred/recommended resources

IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING REPORTING A COVID DIAGNOSIS
If your child tests positive for COVID-19 we are requesting that parents immediately report this to the school via the following online form (even overnight and/or weekends).This will allow our step-by-step mitigation process to begin with contact tracing and notification to all students/staff that may have been potentially exposed.  Thank you for your partnership in helping us keep all of our students and staff healthy.
