We had shared in past prayer letters about our furlough that would begin in May. We had planned a busy month of ministry to end our first term in Nepal and had just begun preparations. However, because of rumors of another lockdown and uncertainty about the upcoming weeks, we were advised to return to the States a month earlier than planned. We had to get everything ready to go in just a few days and landed in America on March 30. Please be praying for our time here as we visit churches and receive additional training from our sending church and mission board. Continue also to pray for the ministry in Nepal during our absence.

    The day before we left, we hosted the Ray of Hope conference at Camp Refuge. Praise the Lord — we had over 100 people from 6 different churches from Kathmandu. We heard the word preached by pastors from three of these churches and enjoyed a time of fellowship with believers. It was a special blessing to our family to be able to see many of our friends before our departure. We are asking the Lord to give us many days like this in the future of Camp Refuge.

    We are continuing to pray that the Lord would spare the churches in Nepal from suffering under another lockdown. We trust that whatever happens, the Lord will bless the faithful believers and expand the Gospel reach in Nepal. Thank you for partnering with us in prayer.
