2021 SLSWA Nipper & Youth Awards
More than 200 guests gathered at Woodside’s Cara auditorium on Saturday to recognise Western Australia’s outstanding Nipper and Youth members at the 2021 Nipper & Youth Awards, presented by the Scottish Masonic Charitable Foundation of Western Australia.
There were two very familiar Albany SLSC faces in the mix of amazing young surf lifesavers. Congratulations to LIESEL and ANGUS!!

It’s Survey Time!
As we wrap up another season, it is important we take the time to check in with our members and evaluate operations and programs delivered.
This season a number of surveys will be rolled out across the club targeting specific operational areas, membership and or volunteer groups. Some have already begun.

Patrol News
Just a reminder to all patrolling members to please take the time complete the survey. This is your time to have a say on how you feel the patrols could be more efficiently run.
Would you like shorter patrol hours, smaller teams, less rostered days? The committee can make these decisions for you, however it will serve the teams better if as many patrolling members have their say, and then decisions can be made to suit the majority.

Let’s Go Surfing – Disabled Surfers Association Great Southern (DSAGS)
We’re EXCITED as have dates for Let’s Go Surfing – Middleton Beach
Disabled Surfers Association’s newest branch, DSA Great Southern (DSAGS) will hold four events in 2021.
Saturdays – January 16th, February 20th, March 13th, April 17th, in the water 10am to 11:30/12 noon followed by presentations and a free BBQ.
