CELEBRATE EARTH DAY
The Ohio Clean Boater Way

As a Clean Boater, you are already doing your part to help protect our air and water quality. This Earth Day, we encourage you to take your Clean Boating pledge a step further: make a commitment to reduce single-use plastics while boating, educate a fellow boater about aquatic invasive species, organize a local beach clean-up, take steps to reduce water use, or make the switch to less-toxic cleaning products. See our Clean Boating You Tube playlist for more ideas!

Reminders

Have a plan to reduce, reuse, and recycle!

As you prepare for Spring boating, take time now to make a plan for shrink wrap recycling, or eliminating the use of plastic boat wrap altogether by utilizing indoor storage or reusable cover options. Remember to watch our video on how to properly prepare shrink wrap for recycling after removing it from your boat, and see the fact sheet below for helpful reminders.
