In recognition of the 40th anniversary of the discovery of HIV/AIDS and Israel’s 73rd anniversary of independence – the Consulate General of Israel in Los Angeles, the City of West Hollywood, the City of Tel Aviv, Congregation Kol Ami, and Israeli-American Civic Action Network will host a city-to-city dialogue between West Hollywood and Tel Aviv about their efforts to treat and eventually eliminate the HIV virus.
The event will also feature a top infectious disease doctor from Israel's Ben Gurion University who will speak about his research related to HIV – and the possible role of coronavirus research and the new mRNA vaccines in driving progress towards an effective vaccine treatment for HIV.
