Senior Sunday meeting after high school youth group tomorrow. Some of my favorite ministry moments comes from our graduating seniors on Youth Sunday. This year, Youth Sunday will be on May 2. Seniors, please read this letter explaining our plan for this event.
People are asking me, "Have you recovered from the middle school retreat?" The answer is no. Physically I'm back at 100%, but I came home a bit different than when I left, with one lingering unanswered question: what is God going to do in the teenage years of this group? All the games, loud music, and Bible teaching made for one positive weekend, but what really "moved the needle" was the shared experience this collection of students created together. Our student ministry trips help turn a bunch of kids into one single youth group, and this retreat brought most all the pieces of the puzzle together, and I can't wait to see this massively talented group of kids continue to grow together as the church.
