After 67 years of a dedicated legal career caring for up to 5 generations of clients, Warwick passed away suddenly, on 2 March 2021, not long after his annual trip to Lord Howe Island. He had been working until Christmas 2020 and left his files in good order as he usually did before a break.
Clients, colleagues, and staff, past and present, join with Rosemary, his wife, and his family in farewelling a compassionate, urbane and highly skilled lawyer, mentor and friend who delivered his sound knowledge with courtesy and humour. His was a calming and reassuring influence both in the office and with clients.
We will all miss his judicious advice, his optimism and his infectious laugh. Warwick has been part of Biddulph & Salenger since 1968, variously as principal, partner, senior lawyer and mentor.
Maryanne Ofner, the current principal (who worked alongside Warwick for 33 years) and her dedicated team, have absorbed Warwick’s inspirational commitment to personalised, caring, and efficient service which they will continue to deliver as being the best tribute that they can make to Warwick’s memory.
Newest member of the Biddulph & Salenger family
On a happier note, we welcome another addition to the Biddulph & Salenger family as Edyta Zurawski, Senior Associate, recently gave birth to a baby girl.
Whilst Edyta takes maternity leave, she leaves her files in the capable hands of both Maryanne and Josh. We wish Edyta and her family all the best for her maternity year break.
