Dunmunkle Childcare Gains Momentum
Yarriambiack Shire Council is encouraging parents from Minyip, Murtoa and Rupanyup areas to complete an online survey regarding their current childcare needs.

The online survey asks participants to provide feedback on the location, format of childcare and children demographic to obtain a clear picture of what the current situation is and how to meet the needs of the community. The survey results will be collated and a business plan prepared to progress the project so it is infrastructure shovel ready but also to attract a childcare provider to deliver the services required moving forward.

Childcare shortages has been highlighted as an area of concern for our residents through the community engagement sessions held throughout February and March. Council is addressing this concern and actively working with the community to not only meet the current needs, but also plan for the future needs of childcare in Minyip, Murtoa and Rupanyup.

The online survey can be accessed from www.yarriambiack.vic.gov.au. The survey closes on Friday 23 April.

MY AGED CARE - YOUR QUESTIONS ANSWERED!
Regular questions around access to My Aged Care were asked during Council’s recent community consultation sessions held across the Shire.  If anyone would like our My Aged Care staff to present information or answer any questions at your next group or club meeting, please contact Mandy Bryce at the Warracknabeal Office.

Mandy is also available at the office to assist anyone who is experiencing issues in registering with My Aged Care. Residents can get in contact with Mandy by calling the Council office on 5398 0100.

You need a Footpath Trading Permit if you want to place tables and chairs, goods and products, outdoor heaters, an advertising sign, planter boxes, umbrellas, screens, promotional items or any other material on the footpath.
