Before finalizing your schedule this semester, keep in mind the deadlines below and review the slate of Spring 2021 Policy Modifications announced in January to offer you extra flexibility this term. (Please note that switching a course to P/NP may not be the best action in all circumstances. We recommend exploring the webpage Options if You are Struggling in Your Courses for other strategies, such as dropping a course or taking an incomplete in a course to focus on your remaining courses.)

NEW: Summer 2021 Policy Modifications
(P/NP Grades)
This summer, students will still be able to satisfy the L&S College Requirements of Reading & Composition, Quantitative Reasoning, and Foreign Language with a Passed (P) grade if a student elects to take the course for P/NP. Exceptions: Students on academic probation or subject to dismissal must elect the letter-grade option. Courses that satisfy Entry Level Writing must be taken for a letter grade.

To view the complete details of policy modifications, including how they apply to major requirements, check out the Summer 2021 Policy Modifications and FAQ. Prior to the start of Summer Sessions, more details will be sent from the L&S Executive Committee.
April Progress Report: Solidarity with our Black Community
