Stockton sprint - postponed
Unfortunately our sprint event planned for Stockton Riverside this coming weekend has had to be postponed as the council were not able to approve permissions in time. We hope to reschedule it to Saturday 29th May - see Tchimes and the website for further updates

Scottish 6 days - entry deadline approaching
For those who aren't familiar, the Scottish 6-days is a bi-annual event comprising six orienteering races over a week (with one "rest day" in the middle!), usually in excellent, technical Scottish terrain. This year the event is based around Fort William. There are multiple closing dates with increasing entry fees, and the second of the three deadlines is next Saturday 30th April. Rigbys doing the Lyke Wake Walk for Murambinda Mission Hospital, Zimbabwe
Carolyn and Richard Rigby as a newly qualified GPs spent 2 years as doctors at Murambinda Mission Hospital, Zimbabwe. On their return, along with other returned volunteers, they set up the registered charity Friends of Murambinda Hospital (FMH) which has been supporting the hospital for 22 years through very difficult times. However, the virus has significantly reduced opportunities for charitable fundraising so Carolyn, Richard and Alice and a group of friends including Neil Hunter plan to run the Lyke Wake Walk in June as a sponsored event to raise funds for Murambinda.
