Temple B'nai Or
COVID updates
As more people get vaccinated, we will be starting to slowly open things up at Temple. You may have noticed that B'nai Mitzvah Saturday morning services are now available to be done in the sanctuary. There is no unscheduled entry except for staff and students; but if you have temple business, please contact the office to make arrangements.
Helpful new Call Center for those over 75 and who may struggle with technology! NJ state senior-specific call center at 856-249-700. Their goal is to assist those 75 and older with registering for, scheduling, and rescheduling appointments. They take calls from 8 am to 8 pm daily.
Helpful new Twitter Bot (@nj_vaccine) that tweets every time it finds appointments available. You must set your Twitter to notify you when there is a tweet, but then you just click on the link to try to register. Tweets for CVS, RiteAid, county sites, and other sites. The bot still requires luck and page refreshes, but is helpful to find locations with available appointments.
To help stem the tide of this virus, please consider downloading the COVID Alert NJ app onto your smartphone (free from both Apple and Google app stores). It provides anonymous, automatic contact tracing so that if someone you have been near contracts COVID, you are contacted and know to self isolate. We can all help slow the spread of COVID if we download this app today!
