Hate Has No Home Here
Advancing its ongoing commitment to diversity and fostering an inclusive community, the City of Bellevue has launched the “Hate Has No Home Here”  campaign to involve community members and businesses in spreading awareness and solidarity and encourage reporting of hate and bias incidents.
 
Visit the “Hate Has No Home Here” website to find messages from City of Bellevue leadership, access to resources from community partners, proclaim your pledge and stay informed on programs and upcoming events. Businesses are welcome to use website banners for "Hate Has No Home Here" and may display stickers in establishments that include a commitment of purpose. Download graphics, request a sticker and find pickup locations here.

Continued Business Relief 
Bellevue businesses can receive free 1x1 assistance applying for continued aid including Working Washington Grants, PPP, Shuttered Venue Operating Grants and others business aid from (re)Startup425. Businesses can find the latest information on resources and opportunities during COVID at Bellevue’s Business Resources web page that details all known available resources, including grant and loan programs, regional support campaigns, city-sponsored assistance programs, and ways to support local businesses.
UPCOMING EVENTS

 

Do you have a great idea for a product or business? Startup425 Foundations offer seminars that bring together innovators, business advisors and entrepreneurs for a broad overview of the startup process, from business plans to financing, marketing and networking. Sign up for the series, or the sessions that most match your interests or needs. Course take place Tuesday evenings through April 20.  


Outdoor Dining in Bellevue Webinar 
Thursday, April 8 from 9-10:30am 

The City of Bellevue is committed to supporting local businesses in creating new outdoor space––whether on the sidewalk, on the street, in parking lots, or on private property. During this webinar, City staff will walk through our outdoor dining application process and share resources to assist in development of your outdoor dining program, Register now! | More information

Arts, Culture and Entertainment 


The City of Bellevue is a proud sponsor of the Tasveer South Asian Film Festival, the largest South Asian film festival in the United States. The 16th annual festival is currently is accepting early bird film submissions by April 26. Learn more about Tasveer, the festival and film submissions and be sure to watch a film on your next Alaska Airlines flight through their in-flight entertainment programming.  

Bellevue Beats, the Bellevue Downtown Associations free concerts kicks off April 7! Stream shows online every Wednesday, with outdoor in-person Summer Sessions anticipated to begin in July.  

Northwest Watercolor Society is proud to present its annual membership exhibition, Waterworks Unlimited. It’s free for everyone’s viewing pleasure on any device at any time from April 22 through June 30, 2021.

The City of Bellevue conducts a business survey every two years to collect data and key insights on business satisfaction and needs to inform future programs and services for large and small businesses across industries and geographical areas of Bellevue. Keep an eye out for this survey coming to your business in May.
