In honor of New York City's annual Immigrant Heritage Week, join the Consulate General of Switzerland in New York for our first ever scavenger hunt highlighting Swiss sites across the city -- from famous and historic, to secret and hidden.
From Monday, April 12 at 12:00 pm to Sunday, April 18 at 12:00 am (midnight), celebrate Switzerland's diverse history and culture in NYC by heading outdoors and exploring as many Swiss sites across the city as you can for the chance to win prizes! This event is free of charge but registration is required.
Established in 2004, Immigrant Heritage Week is a week-long celebration organized every year by the Mayor’s Office of Immigrant Affairs (MOIA) that pays homage to New York City's legacy as a city of immigrants. April 17, 1907 is the day in NYC's history that the largest number of immigrants – 11,000 – entered the U.S. through Ellis Island.
