Spring Sermon Series
A Community We Can Call Home

More than merely a place to be, home conveys a sense of being and belonging. As we anticipate gathering at church again, either for small group meetings, classes, or in-person worship, this 8-week series (during Eastertide, April 11–May 30) reminds us of all the ways we experience Christian community.

As followers of Jesus, we are called by God’s Spirit to be a community that shares life together in the same way a family shares a home.

COVID-19 Vaccinations
How can we help?

Out of care and concern for our congregation and wider community and in cooperation with Sonoma County Health leaders, we are supporting the effort to help people be vaccinated for COVID-19 who want to be. By the end of April or early May, all FPCSR staff will have been vaccinated for COVID-19.

For the next few weeks, through our church’s Caring Ministries, we will reach out to every member and friend to offer help in any of the following ways:
  1. Securing a vaccination appointment and/or assisting with an in-home vaccination;
  2. Transportation to an appointment;
  3. Obtaining information about the vaccines;
  4. Confirming those already vaccinated and those who choose not to be vaccinated;
  5. Identifying others in our community who would benefit from our assistance.

Sunday, April 11

Pastor Kent Webber starts our new sermon series, preaching on the topic of
“The Church as the Creation of the Holy Spirit.”
