MATTHEW 25: THE 21 DAY RACIAL JUSTICE CHALLENGE
There is a growing awareness among Presbyterians that racism is a crisis and must be addressed. The PC(USA) is strongly committed to the struggle for racial justice, and the Matthew 25 Initiative calls us to work as a congregation to eliminate Systemic Racism, an issue that we've been discussing in our Sunday evening Lenten series.
The 21-Day Racial Justice Challenge invites us to do something every day to raise awareness about the perniciousness of racism and encourage action in response to that awareness. To find the daily readings and activities:

Join us on Zoom Sundays at 9:30am for virtual fellowship before our worship service! All are welcome, we love seeing your face and hearing what you've been up to.

Morning prayer:
O Jesus, poor and abject, unknown and despised, have mercy upon me,
and let me not be ashamed to follow Thee.
O Jesus, hated, calumniated, and persecuted, have mercy upon me,
and make me content to be as my master.
O Jesus, blasphemed, accused, and wrongfully condemned,
have mercy upon me,
and teach me to endure the contradictions of sinners.
O Jesus, clothed with a habit of reproach and shame, have mercy upon me,
and let me not seek my own glory.
O Jesus, insulted, mocked, and spit upon, have mercy upon me,
and let me not faint in fiery trial.
O Jesus, crowned with thorn and hailed in derision;
O Jesus, burdened with our sins and the curses of people;
O Jesus, affronted, outraged, buffeted,
overwhelmed with injuries, griefs and humiliations;
O Jesus, hanging on the accursed tree, bowing the head,
giving up the ghost, have mercy upon me,
and confirm my whole soul to Thy holy, humble, suffering Spirit.
Amen
   -- John Wesley (1703-1791)
Evening prayer:
The moment we have longed for has come;
the night of our desires is here!
What greater occupation could there be
than for us to proclaim the power of Your resurrection!
This was the day when You shattered the gates of hell,
and You took up the victory banner of Heaven.
This was the day when You set us among the stars ....
The blood which flowed from Your side has washed away our sins.
Your body rising from the tomb has promised us eternal life.
Eternal are the blessings which in Your love You have poured upon us!
Amen
   -- Gelasian Sacramentary (8th Century)
