The April 14 webinar, on Health in All Policies (HiAP) given by Dr. Lucie Lemieux, Chair of the REFIPS Board of Directors—Americas, hit an all-time high with 249 signups, including from the following countries: Belgium, Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Congo, France (including Guadeloupe), Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Haiti¸ Côte d’Ivoire, Morocco, Senegal, Switzerland and Togo.
A screenshot here shows the class of students of the Diploma of Higher Specialized Studies (DESS) in Health Services Management with their professor, Dr. Joseph Adrien Emmanuel Demes, Ph.D. (c), of the School of Medicine and Pharmacy, (State University of Haiti), Port-au-Prince, Haiti, who attended the webinar live.
Given how successful it was and the interest shown in the Health in All Policies webinar, a second webinar is scheduled for Wednesday 26 May. The webinar will discuss a concrete example of this policy.
