Our 2020 campaign
— THE GOOD NEWS —
Last year's fundraising campaign, energetically driven by our president Mónica Calderón, Patricia Ortiz Monasterio and other members, certainly moved uphill in a difficult year, but it moved. We received beautiful and invaluable tokens of support, solidarity and interest from many of you:
The Network grew considerably in Los Angeles, with new members; we had a fantastic RVH event at Valle Venice, Shelley Armistead's restaurant; and sales reached a record number largely due to purchases by several Network members.
With your annual cash contributions we reached 68% of our campaign goal. Counting very significant in-kind donations* we reached over 111% of the campaign!
We are deeply grateful to everyone for this collective achievement, which will allow us to continue and deepen our initiatives.
* Marketing consultancy with Circus., RVH event at Valle Venice, trip to Los Angeles, among others.

Fasten your seatbelts
— THE 2021 CAMPAIGN KICKS OFF! —
2020 left us many gifts, among them, a sprouting seed for one of our most ambitious and transformative projects: the Casas del Barro (Houses of Clay).
We are already taking firm steps to build a space in downtown Oaxaca that will be the home for the wisdom of the handmade in the villages of Mexico and the world, and as we've said, a mandatory stop.
This is a dream that requires the drive and love of many people to become a reality. In the coming months we will be contacting them personally to share with you the details of this beautiful surprise that we are sure will thrill you.
Finally, this document that brings together all that we achieved together during 2020 is about to be released to the world and into your hands. (It is much bigger than we estimated!).
This week we will start the distribution and mailing of the envelopes, so we kindly ask you to confirm the address where you wish to receive the printed version by clicking below to fill out a very short form.

All our gratitude and affection to the members of RVH 2020,
for making so many beautiful transformations possible.

Innovando la Tradición: We serve artisan communities by developing conditions for their self-determination, agency and buen vivir. We transform dominant narratives through contact with the earth. We generate care of our human, social and natural environment. We create bridges between the wisdom of the handmade and the world. We are and operate as a community. We learn and are transformed together. We maintain spaces for individual and collective creativity. We are proud of what we do. We are all clay.
