Tips for joining in Worship at home:

  • Be ready to go 10 minutes before the service is starting with your computer, iPad or TV set up and connected and volume turned up. The livestream will appear a few minutes before the service is scheduled to begin.
  • If you have a printer, you may want to print the Order of Service in advance and have it ready for Sunday Morning, otherwise you can follow along on another device. Do join in the responses and hymns as you normally would.
  • If there is problem with the Livestream technology, don't worry! We will record all our services and make them available as soon as possible after.
  • You can contribute as part of the offertory by giving online via www.cathedral.org.au/donate

Tuesday
5.10pm Choral Evensong (Broadcast online only)
A 30 minute service sung by the Cathedral Choir, this is a traditional Anglican service with music, prayer and scripture readings.

There is no in-person Evensong on Tuesday 13th April.

Wednesday
12.15pm Holy Eucharist

A 30 minute service of readings, prayers, a short address and Holy Communion led by a member of the Cathedral Clergy. 

1.00pm Lunchtime Concert
Christopher Cox, tenor, and Coady Green, piano performing works by Purcell, Vaughan-Williams, Gurney, Howells, Finzi and Britten in a collection of popular English songs.

Thursday
5.10pm Choral Evensong
A 30 minute service sung by the Cathedral Choir, this is a traditional Anglican service with music, prayer and scripture readings. This service is recorded for broadcast the following week on Channel 31 and the Cathedral's Online Channels.

The ministry team of St Paul’s Cathedral has been meeting electronically for morning prayer, during which they remember each member of our electoral roll and other parishioners by name over the course of the week. Know that we are holding each and every one of you in our prayers.

Share your prayer requests with us by emailing 
parishprayer@stpaulscathedral.org.au. Prayers submitted will be offered during our 12.15pm Lunchtime Eucharist on Wednesdays.

The World
People of Brazil facing surging numbers of Covid-19 cases, and effective distribution of the vaccine around the world; refugees around the world, especially for unaccompanied children crossing the Mexican border into the USA, that daily needs might be supplied, and safe accommodation provided; Peace in Syria, Yemen, Congo, Ethiopia, northern Mozambique and Myanmar.

Our City and State
Give thanks for our increasing freedom to travel and pray for wisdom for those making decisions; for protection, strength and energy for front line health care workers; for safety and refreshment for teachers and students during school holidays; for employment for those who have lost jobs and encouragement and resourcefulness for affected businesses; continuing the conversation about gender inequality.
